NOTV Club TV . The VJ channel
NoTV has posted a preview of their ClubTV
project, an on-line Brightcove-based
content network of visual content
for playback in clubs and other venues. The current
channels / tabs
include live VJ performances, specials, showcase, and previews of NoTV
releases. Theres also a download & rental service, which has
promise but is currently
Windows only. VJs are able to upload content
to the service by either signing up for
Brightcove account, or by using the provided app.
Most of the content is short length (< 10min), but live
performance videos are much
longer (up to an hour) featuring pair-ups
such as Scanner (UK) vs. D-Fuse (UK) and
Crowd Formation (NL) vs. VJ ACTOP (E). Im crossing my fingers and hoping for live
performance footage from film icon and NoTV collaborator Peter Greenaway.
