Canarias crea is a showcase of electronic
music and visuals from canary islands. The main goal of the festival is
to shorten the distance that separates this artists from the main
electronic scenes in the world.
The festival will take place on
July 16th and 17th at Berghain Kantine and Watergate, the most popular
clubs in Berlin and probably in the World that will serve as platform
to the 2nd edition of Canarias Crea Berlin, a unique opportunity to
reafirm last year success.

On July 16th at berghain Kantine from
20:00 hours there will be a Canary Islands/Berlin artists meeting
focused on experimental music with free entrance to general public.
Canary islands art will be represented by # (928), Gaf, Polen y
Tupperwear while Berlin will be presence with acts by Kraykenbohm and
Frank Bretchneider, co-founder of the prestigious german label Raster
Noton. Also it will be an performance by fehlaktor, group formed by
artists from both countries.
On July 17th the main Canarias Crea
2008 event will take place at Watergate from 12 at night with artists
from Canary Islands exclusively and where the music will be focused on
minimal techno, dub and hip hop. The line up includes a mix of wellknow
and upcoming artists like Sebastian Roya, LOD, Tobias Pronto, Hugo
Cipres, Dani Vallejo, Rafa Valido, La Capria, Abstract groove and Dom.
During this event there will be a free give CD away with a track from
all the Canary Islands artists that will participate on the Festival.
In both days there will be visual performances by Lab4, Mudska, Blanco y Brasil.
