CALL FOR AUDIOVISUAL PROJECTS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE World Ayahuasca Conference –
AYA Art 2019

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE CALL

Projects can be presented in any of the following modalities and technologies: Virtual
Reality; Audiovisual Installations; Lighting Installations; Mapping and Micromapping;
Immersive and Sensorial Installations etc.; Other installations that include digital or electronic
art.
We will select artistic projects based on the following concepts:
Plants and Wisdom of Plants, Spirit of Plants, Visionary Plants, Medicinal Plants,
Shamanism, Spirit, Science, Medicine, Traditions, Indigenous Use, Religion, Art, Creativity,
Culture, Ethics, Legalities, Cognitive Freedom, Research, Security, Hope for our Future,
Enteogenic Evolution, Nature, Empowerment, Discernment.

SPACES: Sales 10 and 11 and terrace of the 3rd floor of the Palau de Congresos de Girona.

REMUNERATION
The organisation will pay a maximum of 1500 € for each of the selected projects.
Remunerations may include: artists' fees, transport of the work, travel, per diems and
production costs. The budget must be attached, specifying which part corresponds to each
of the concepts. The amount to be received will be subject to IRPF and copyright
withholdings, if any, corresponding to current legislation.
The accommodation of the artists will be in charge of the organization, with a maximum of 5
nights and two people per project (from May 29th to June 2nd included). In the event that the
artists cannot attend the event, it is necessary that they indicate it, since the assembly and
disassembly of the work will be in charge of the Telenoika Cultural Association.

It is necessary that you fill in the registration form that you will find on the website: Form /

In this bulletin it is necessary to fill all the obligatory fields of inscription: name, surnames,
Number of DNI, NIE or Passport, email, telephone, brief description of the work, title, project,
measures, technical assembly and necessities and/or maintenance during the exhibition. It is
also necessary to attach a dossier of the project (in .pdf, .jpg or .png format of max. 2MB).
The dossier must contain images illustrating it (if selected, this information, with a brief
description of the work, will appear in the programming and diffusion). You can also upload
complementary information in two non-mandatory fields with a maximum of 2MB in pdf, jpg
or png format. Brief biography of the artists. Budget, specifying which part corresponds to
each of the concepts.

In the case of audiovisual installations, it will be necessary to specify measures and
technical needs of the assembly. In the case of installations, interventions in public space
and sensitive routes: it will be necessary to relate the measures of the installation and also
the technical needs of the assembly. In the case of performances or actions, link to images
of the performance or action to be performed, along with the duration and technical needs.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: April 15, 2019
Resolution of winning proposals: 20 April 2019
In order for the proposal to be evaluated for selection, all specific documentation as
determined in the terms and conditions must be submitted.
The Telenoika Cultural Association will be responsible for the selection of projects.

SELECTION CRITERIA:
Priority will be given to projects that meet the following requirements:
Artistic quality.
Degree of innovation and experimentation.
Adequacy and coherence with the themes of the call.
Priority will be given to interactive and participative proposals with the public.
Observations:
-The organization is not responsible for the technical needs of the projects, since we want
them to be completely produced with the financial support provided, although the
organization can help in the installation and management of the space, if it is very specified
in the dossier that is delivered with the registration.

-The payment of the remuneration will only become effective when the cultural association
Telenoika has received the subsidies granted.
-The organization is not responsible for the transport of the works or the artists' trips.
-The inscription gives place to the full acceptance of the bases of the call.
-The selected artists who present works that require interaction with the public will be
responsible for the management of the same during the hours of the event.

BASES DE LA CONVOCATORIA
Se pueden presentar proyectos en cualquiera de estas modalidades y tecnologías: Realidad
Virtual; Instalaciones audiovisuales; Instalaciones de ilumnicación; Mapping y
micromapping; Instalaciones inmersivas y sensoriales etc.; Otras instalaciones que incluyan
arte digital o electrónico.

Seleccionaremos proyectos artísticos basados en los siguientes conceptos:
Plantas y Sabiduría de las plantas, Espíritu de las plantas, Plantas visionarias, Plantas
medicinales, Chamanismo, Espíritu, Ciencia, Medicina, Tradiciones, Uso indígena, Religión,
Arte, Creatividad, Cultura, Ética, Legalidades, Libertad cognitiva, Investigación, Seguridad,
Esperanza para nuestro Futuro, Evolución Enteogenica, Naturaleza, Apoderamiento,
Discernimiento.

REMUNERACIÓN
La organización remunerará con un máximo 1500 € cada uno de los proyectos
seleccionados. Las remuneraciones pueden incluir: honorarios de los/las artistas, transporte
de la obra, viajes, dietas y gastos de producción. Se tendrá que adjuntar el presupuesto,
especificando qué parte corresponde a cada uno de los conceptos. Al importe a percibir se
aplicarán las retenciones de IRPF y derechos de autor si hay, correspondientes según la
legislación vigente.
El alojamiento de los/las artistas será a cargo de la organización, con un máximo de 5
noches y dos personas por proyecto (desde el día 29 de mayo hasta el día 2 de junio
incluido). En caso de que los/las artistas no puedan asistir al acontecimiento, hace falta que
lo indiquen, puesto que el montaje y desmontaje de la obra será a cargo de la Asociación
Cultural Telenoika.

DOCUMENTACIÓN QUE HAY QUE PRESENTAR:
Boletín de inscripción
Hace falta que rellenéis el boletín de inscripción que encontraréis en La web: Formulario /
Formulario / Webform

En este boletín hay que llenar todos los campos obligatorios de inscripción: nombre,
apellidos, Numero de DNI, NIE o Pasaporte, email, teléfono, breve descripción de la obra,
título, proyecto, medidas, montaje técnico y necesidades y/o mantenimiento durante la
exposición. También hay que adjuntar un dosier del proyecto (en formato .pdf, .jpg o .png de
máx. 2MB). El dosier tiene que contener imágenes que la ilustren (en caso de ser
seleccionado/da, esta información, con la breve descripción de la obra, será la que
aparecerá en la programación y a la difusión). También podéis subir información
complementaria en dos campos no obligatorios con un máximo de 2MB en formato pdf, jpg
o png. Breve biografía de las/los artistas. Presupuesto, especificando qué parte corresponde
a cada uno de los conceptos.

En el caso de las instalaciones audiovisuales habrá que especificar medidas y necesidades
técnicas del montaje. En el caso de las instalaciones, intervenciones al espacio público y
recorridos sensitivos: habrá que relacionar las medidas de la instalación y también las
necesidades técnicas del montaje. En el caso de performances o acciones, enlace a
imágenes de la performance o acción que se quiere realizar, junto con la duración y las
necesidades técnicas.

FECHA LIMITE De INSCRIPCIÓN: 15 de abril de 2019
Resolución de propuestas ganadoras: 20 de abril 2019

Para que la propuesta sea valorada para su selección habrá que entregar toda la
documentación específica tal como se determina en las bases.

La selección de proyectos se hará a cargo de la Asociación Cultural Telenoika.

CRITERIOS DE SELECCIÓN:
Tendrán prioridad los proyectos que cumplan los siguientes requisitos:
Calidad artística.
Grado de innovación y experimentación.
Adecuación y coherencia con las temáticas de la convocatoria.
Tendrán prioridad las propuestas interactivas y participativas con el público.

Observaciones:
-La organización no se responsabiliza de las necesidades técnicas de los proyectos, puesto
que queremos que sean completamente producidos con la ayuda económica aportada, a
pesar de que la organización puede ayudar en la instalación y la gestión del espacio, si está
muy especificado en el dosier que se entrega con la inscripción.
-El ingreso de la remuneración solo se hará efectivo cuando la asociación cultural Telenoika
haya recibido las subvenciones otorgadas.
-La organización no se hace cargo del transporte de las obras ni de los viajes de las/ los
artistas.
-La inscripción da lugar a la plena aceptación de las bases de la convocatoria.
-Los/las artistas seleccionados/dos que presenten obras que requieran la interacción con el
público se harán cargo de la gestión de la misma durante el los horarios de evento.
