Sound Tectonics :: 10-25 Nov. Atenes.
Sound Tectonics series are focused on research between the fields of sound & architecture. This first edition aims to provoke debates about the impact of sonic environments on cultural practices and public spaces, and explore how this could be translated structurally. In other words, how do we address acoustical, structural and spacial connections, incorporating them all in one structure.
.How do we listen or experience sound?
.How do we perceive our built environment?
.How do architectural and sonic conditions influence our social behaviour?
.What are the limits of architecture and how do we re-frame our spacial perception?
